Frustrated after an argument with her questionably sane mother, Sam must seek refuge elsewhere. Turning to the boy who loves her, while longing instead for a girl far from home, she finds herself lonely and confused. It is a conversation with her mother’s ex-lover Olivia that ultimately offers Sam the insights she needs to face her mom and her own coming of age.
